an' it feels like rain

The first of these paintings was done on a rainy afternoon

with Buddy Guy singing "Feels Like Rain" while I worked.

The concept grew into a series based on my gratitude for water.  

Could be living in Santa Fe's high desert climate,

but I also just love how water is such a great metaphor for

the nature of the universe.

The intense calm of the ocean beneath crashing waves

stillness and motion - vibration - sound - life.
